Tramp, tramp, tramp

As part of TCM’s Summer of Stars Festival in August, today will be devoted to select feature films and shorts from none other than Charlie Chaplin his ownself. Here’s the lineup:

06:00 AM Knockout, The (1914)
06:30 AM Rounders, The (1914)
06:45 AM Dog's Life, A (1918)
07:30 AM Shoulder Arms (1918)
08:15 AM Sunnyside (1919)
08:45 AM Day's Pleasure, A (1919)
09:15 AM Kid, The (1921)
10:15 AM Idle Class, The (1921)
11:00 AM Pay Day (1922)
11:30 AM Pilgrim, The (1923)
12:15 PM Woman of Paris, A (1923)
01:45 PM Gold Rush, The (1925)
03:00 PM Circus, The (1928)
04:15 PM City Lights (1931)
05:45 PM Charlie: The Life and Art of Charles Chaplin (2003)
08:00 PM Modern Times (1936)
09:30 PM Great Dictator, The (1940)
11:45 PM Monsieur Verdoux (1947)
02:00 AM Limelight (1952)
04:15 AM King in New York, A (1957)

I either own or have seen many of these films, but I have to admit I am going to try and catch the Charlie: The Life and Art of Charles Chaplin doc at 5:45pm. I guess the short showing at 08:45am sums up my feelings for this truly remarkable film fest.
