Sorry, ol' sock--I don't deliberately lop off the name...it does that on its own when I copy it to the blog.
FYI, the strip is called Ink Pen--it's one of my favorites, though my Dad doesn't care much for it. I told him he needed to give it a little more time.
I'm surprised they let "beggin' for a peggin'" past the editors! (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegging -- perhaps they meant the cribbage definition?)
