As I write this post, I’m staring at three copies of a CD collection containing eighteen episodes of the OTR series Nick Carter, Master Detective (pictured to your left). I received these as freebies a good while back from Radio Spirits’ Mark Tepper, who mistakenly thought I contributed the liner notes to the collection—it’s actually a re-release of a set that was previously available only on cassette. I will send the CDs to the winners via Media Mail…because I’m currently pinching pennies here at Rancho Yesteryear. Now, I’m optimistically expecting a good-sized response to this contest, so the winners will be chosen via a random number generating system…but should it happen that I only get three entries—well, it will be the easiest contest those three people ever entered.

I love old time radio shows. Put me in for a chance at that! I like your blog very much, and I love the quote at the top!
I'm in, Ivan. This would be a fab addition to my OTR collection.
