DeepDiscount.com—better known in the blogiverse as “Ivan’s IRS dependent”—is having a “back to school” sale on Criterion DVD and Blu-Rays…45% off. I probably could have purchased Make Way for Tomorrow cheaper when Barnes & (Ig)Noble had their sale a month or two back, but they’ve got some hellaciously good prices on some of the Essential Art House titles: films like Throne of Blood (1957), Wild Strawberries (1957), The 30 Steps (1935), etc. are priced to move at $10.97 a pop (offer expires September 1, 2010).
Why, this news is enough to make me giddy and break out into the only decent musical number in Grease 2!
