I didn't see this movie until I ...Great review. I didn't see this movie until I had read Lenny's book (How to Talk Dirty and Influence People) and Goldman's Ladies and Gentlemen, Lenny Bruce. Now mind you I was about 14 at the time, but having a basis in Lenny's life made the film more cohesive for me. <br /><br />I've since watched many times and always love it, but when I watch it it with people that are less aware of Bruce as a cultural figure,I often end up filling in some of the blanks for them. <br /><br />Also I have to mention that while I was a huge comedy fan as a kiddo, I discovered Bruce through another film. the adolescent fodder Pump Up the Volume.Zachary Kelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15622085931330902943noreply@blogger.com
