Makes me laugh, too... though I know folks who REALLY do feel that way. Scary!
I laughed out loud, really loud, thanks :)
Franklin Roosevelt knew the Japanese were about to attack Pearl Harbor and George Bush arranged for the Muslim terrorists to destroy the World Trade Center. The world is full or conspiracy nuts and they come in a variety of flavors.Jim (who can never remember)
The world is full or conspiracy nuts and they come in a variety of flavors.I couldn't agree with you more, my Yuengling-loving friend -- but give this a going-over: was there anyone with the stature (hate using that word, but it's the only one that fits) of a Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh that could have made the statement that FDR knew about Pearl Harbor in advance on radio back then? It's a different set of rules nowadays, with both of these "pundits" pushing the theories illustrated in the cartoon.(As for the Bush statement -- it's not really that farfetched...they certainly had the intel at the time.)You might want to skip today's cartoon, by the way.
I wouldn't skip your blog unless I was out of town and not able to get to a computer. We may not agree on all things political, but - unlike too many people in this world - we will listen to what we each have to say. It's me again Margaret (better know as senile Jim)
